TRACKS FOR SALE
Every now and then we sell a selection of our bespoke tracks that have been designed and built by ourselves at Think Scalextric. Some have been commissioned by clients for a single use, with the agreement we can sell the track once they have used it. Others might be a track that we have built and designed specifically to sell. PREVIOUS TRACKS WE HAVE SOLD
SOLD: Swiss Inspired Hill Climb Track (16ft x 8ft)
We are selling our 16ft x 8ft ‘Switzerland Inspired Hill Climb‘ track which was a commission build for Switzerland Tourism. This track has paid for itself through events, so we are offering the track for sale for (plus delivery costs), as this is how much it’s worth to us if we recycled the figures, trees, building, structures, etc. If the track is too big, and we can’t sell it within 10 days, we will be dismantling it. We thought we would offer it to people first before this happens.
This bespoke layout was originally created for was showcased at the prestigious Goodwood Revival 2022, and was also at the Laver Cup 2022, where Roger Federer set a lap time.
The track has run Scalextric digital cars and comes with 2 Ford Escorts to use. It also has a “DS” timing system on it to record the run time. There is also a working Z-scale Swiss train that comes with it. The large train track unfortunately does not work, but you could very easily get this up and running if you brought a new train and power supply.

Dimensions: The track is ‘L-shaped’ and is 16ft x 8ft (see pictures for layout). The track comes in 3 (8ft x 6ft) sections/pieces, so make sure you have access to where ever you want it to live. The Hill Climb section is heavy, so good access is required for that piece, do contact us if you are unsure.

SOLD: Swiss Themed Digital Rally Track
Up for lucky new ownership is our mark 2 Swiss themed digital rally stage. We’re offering FREE DELIVERY and INSTALLATION if you’re within 100 miles of our location (more details in eBay description if you’re over 100 miles away from us – see eBay listing). The track splits into two 8ft x 4ft sections.
This bespoke layout was originally created for Switzerland Tourism and was showcased at the prestigious Goodwood Revival weekend, as well as couple of other shows, including UK’s largest slot car show, which was recently held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.

SOLD: British Seafront Rally Track/Stage
After the success of our last couple of rally stages that we have built for clients, we decided it would be cool to have one of our own for our customers to be able to hire. We spent many hours deciding what scene to make. We finally came up with the challenge of building a British seafront rally stage with lots of beachfront scenery and sound effects.
We do love a challenge, so we set out to bespoke make everything you can see here; from the CAD designed and 3D printed bollards, to the buildings and the pier. Everything you see is self designed and made from scratch.
We initially built this track for the 2020 season of events. Unfortunately, after just 2 events at the beginning of the year, all events where cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So we decided it needed a new home and the guys at Kingsley Cars are now the proud new owners.

SOLD: Hill Climb Rally Stage
We were commissioned by Switzerland Tourism to create and build a slot car track for their stand at the Goodwood Revival 2019 with the agreement that we could sell the track after the event. We suggested a Digital Rally track with inspiration coming from Swiss scenery.
The track was 8′ x 4′ and included:
- an ‘Ollon-Villars Hillclimb’
- a vineyard
- a clear still lake
- PLUS lots of mountainous scenery, trees and rocks.
The track was sold within days of us advertising it in October 2019.
