A Day of Racing at McLaren F1

On 29 August**, we provided an action-packed day of digital Scalextric racing at the Mclaren Technology Centre in Woking for the McLaren Racing Friends & Family Day.**

The event was open to McLaren Racing staff, partners and their families. More than 3,000 McLaren Racing employees and family members were able to enjoy the day and experience Formula 1 from a different perspective.

There were also plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including racing simulators, pit stop challenges and Batak machines. Naturally, we were there to add some Scalextric racing to the day! One of our large mobile digital Scalextric tracks gave guests the chance to race McLaren slot cars against friends, family and colleagues.

There was some seriously competitive racing throughout the day. Our McLaren Racing branded Fastest Lap leaderboard was constantly being updated as racers battled to set the quickest time. By the end of the event, some very fast laps had been recorded. However, Chris came out on top with an impressive 6.984-second lap!

During the day, the families also enjoyed driving demonstrations of several iconic McLaren cars during the day, driven by Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Zak Brown.
