Example 1: DP WORLD ‘Golf Scenes’
We were hired by DP World to provide a Scalextric track for the DP World Tour’s BMW International Open 2022 at the Golfclub München Eichenried in Munich, Germany. They asked if we could design and build them some custom scenes for the track. As you can see from the images below we came up with a driving range, a par 3 golf hole and also a replica of the DP World golf ball container that is at all of the DP World Tour events.

Example 2: OAMPS HAZARDOUS INDUSTRIES ‘Oil Spill Clean Up’ Scene
OAMPS Hazardous Industries offer a full suite of specialist insurance and risk management products for the fuel, hazardous haulage, chemical and environmental sectors. When they hired us for the UKIFDA Expo 2022 they asked if we could come up with something that could represent their emergancy spillage services. So we came up with the idea of cleaning up a oil spill. They were very impressed with the final product when they saw it at the event.

Example 3: UK CONNECT ‘Construction’ Scene
UK Connect are the UK’s leading communications provider to the construction industry. When they hired us for an event at the Oracle Red Bull F1 Team’s headquarters, they asked if we could design them a construction scene for the Scalextric track we were supplying. They gave us an idea of what they would like us to build for them but left us to it and looked forward to the reveal at the event.

Example 4: BESPOKE COMMISSION BUILD ‘Monte Carlo Casino’
On Wednesday 13th April 2022 we delivered our ‘Monaco Inspired Street Circuit’ bespoke build to a very happy client, Slot Car-Union, in Nice, France. Our brief from the customer was that they would like a Monaco inspired design, use custom painted Carrera track and it needed to be approximately 13ft x 8ft. The pièce de résistance comes in the form of the Monte Carlo Casino (officially named ‘Casino de Monte-Carlo’) which took many hours of designing and help and guidance from Magnetic Racing.

Example 5: INSTAVOLT ‘EV Rapid Charge Points’ Scene
InstaVolt, which owns, installs, maintains and operates a nationwide network of rapid DC chargers hired us for the ‘Fully Charged Live 2021’ event they were attending. They asked if there was anyway we could replicate an EV charger somewhere on the Scalextric track we were supplying. We had a think, then set to designing something for them. We came up with the idea of having a small car park with 3 of their EV Rapid Charge Points. We designed the image on the computer and then resin printed the EV Rapid Charge Points, which we then added their logos to.
