EVENT: ‘Porschemeiron’ with Porsche Club GB

On May 15th 2022 we were at ‘Porschemeiron’ with Porsche Club GB, a festival like no other in the Welsh costal village of Portmeiron. There were over 500 of their club members at the event with lots going on throughout the day.
The team from Porsche Club GB asked if we could set up one of our giant branded Scalextric setups for them at a large event they were hosting at Portmeirion which is an enchanting Italian style village on the coast of North Wales.
We arrived nice and early for setup and couldn’t believe how beautiful this location was – reminded us of being at Lake Como in Northern Italy. They removed every other vehicle from the village and filled it with all diferent models of Porsche based vehicles.
The event was for the whole day with lots of things going on from live bands, fire dancers, giant robots, sim racing and of course our giant Scalextric race track using Porsche slot cars, which we reckon was the highlight of most peoples days (we’re not bias of course, haha)
We had many many people come visit us in our location within Portmeirion, few of the guests visited many times to get the fastest lap and go top of our Top Gear style magnetic leaderboard. In the end, and after many attempts, Stanley Sullivan got the top spot and was crowned champion.
After this great success Porsche Club GB have asked us back to do another exciting event later on in the year – The aforementioned event was the ‘Festival of Porsche‘ and took place on 6th August 2022 (CLICK HERE for see more about it).
