17th-20th Aug 2023: Farnborough International Expo Centre

On 17th-20th August 2023 we were back again working with the British Motor Show. Once again we supplied, and ran, a GIANT Scalextric track for people to race on. As well as that track, we also supplied a small bespoke track, for the younger children to experience the joys of Slot Car racing.

We were in the Kidz Zone in the BYD Zone with one of our Giant Digital Scalextric tracks….PLUS we had a kids analogue Scalextric track. Both Scalextric tracks included many Magnetic Racing products.

18th-21st Aug 2022: Farnborough International Expo Centre

The British Motor Show took place at Farnborough International Expo Centre in August 2022. The show returned with even more cars, even more entertainment and even more fun!

The show offered a dynamic mix of cars, celebrity guests, live arena displays, driving experiences and test drives over 4 days. You’ll also see the latest technology and electric cars, get one to one expert advice or even find out about career opportunities in The Automotive Careers Expo. If that’s wasn’t enough, there was plenty of motorsports action in the motorsport arena, over 200 supercars in the supercar paddock plus you could get up close to an old flame in the classic car and modified zones.

We were in the Kidz Zone again with one of our Giant Digital Scalextric tracks and Racing Simulators….PLUS we had a kids analogue Scalextric track. Both Scalextric tracks included many Magnetic Racing products.

May 6th – June 3rd 2022: Pop-Up Show, Lexicon Centre, Bracknell

Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural ‘PopUp Motor Show’ in Basingstoke Festival Place in 2020, and the ‘Pop-Up Motor Show’ in Portsmouth in 2021, The British Motor Show are back with another Pop-Up Motor Show. The British Motor Show’s latest Pop-Up Motor Show will be running from May 6 to June 3 2022 in Princess Square at the Lexicon Centre in Bracknell, Berkshire.

1st-24th Dec 2021: Pop-Up Show, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth

Following the phenomenal success of the inaugural ‘PopUp Motor Show’ in Basingstoke Festival Place in 2020, The British Motor Show are back with more Pop-Up Motor Shows over the next 12 months.The first takes place in the old ‘Gap’ shop at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, from 1st – 24th December 2021. We will have one of our Giant Scalextric tracks there for the duration. The track will also include several Magnetic Racing products too, which you can purchase with an exclusive discount when you scan the QR code on the product. 19th-22nd Aug 2021: Farnborough Exhibition Centre

The British Motor Show is back and now at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, who have given them a 5 year contract. After the success of our Scalextric and race simulators at the British Motor Show pop-up Show 2020 at Festival Place in Basingstoke in 2020, they got us in to build 2 massive tracks, along with our top brand racing sims, to entertain their customers in the ‘Mini Motor Show Kids Zone’ in the Main Hall.

We ran ‘fastest lap’ competitions on all the activities, which brought people back to them over and over again. We even had ‘The Stig’ race on our ThinkScalextricEvents tracks and Vicki Butler-Henderson show her skills on our Virtual Reality Simulators.

Oct-Dec 2020: Pop-Up Show, Festival Place, Basingstoke

This year we were meant to be at the British Motor Show in Farnborough. As this was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, when they contacted us to ask if we could exhibit at their Pop-Up Show in a shop at Festival Place in Basingstoke, we could not say no.

You can see our range of MagneticRacing.com buildings on display. There is also a stock of most of them for you to purchase and take home there and then. In the shop window you can also see the track we built for the TRRC Videos.
