On 11th & 12th May we were at the UK Slot Car Festival alongside our sister company, Magnetic Racing Slot Car Scenery & Accessories. We were there with our latest track creation, which was a ZOMBIE track! As soon as the doors opened to the event (on both days) we were constantly busy with people racing and also admiring all the hard work we put into building the tracks.
The UK Slot Car Festival is an annual event and is held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. It is sponsored by Scalextric and is an unmissable weekend for fans of all things slot cars. The event is organised by Pendle Slot Racing, Scale Models and Roger Barker.
The UKSCF showcases a wide range of the major slot car manufacturers: Scalextric, Slot.it, Carrera, SCX, NSR, Ninco, HO AFX and many more. It also includes a massive retail area selling everything you need for your next great race.

The Festival is a perfect family trip out, especially on Scalextric Family Funday Sunday, with plenty of hands-on activities on offer, including our Zombie track. You can test-drive a range of tracks from all the major manufacturers and get stuck into a variety of white-knuckle slot racing competitions on both days of the event.
Tickets for this event included also access to the Museum and Collections Centre, with over 400 cars on display for you to explore, including some you’ll find models of in the retail area! When customers needed to relax, grab hot meals, sweet treats or refreshments, they could head to the Junction 12 Café.
