Doritos Thrill Zone at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.

From 2–5 July, Think Scalextric was proud to be part of the Doritos Thrill Zone at the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. Located in the heart of the F1 Fan Zone, our fully branded mobile digital Scalextric track gave thousands of motorsport fans the chance to race custom Doritos-themed Scalextric trucks. It quickly became one of the event’s most popular interactive attractions.

Each Scalextric truck featured a 3D box on the rear and a unique Doritos flavour-inspired livery. As a result, visitors of all ages enjoyed a fun and memorable racing challenge. Across the four-day event, more than 4,000 people raced on our custom-built Scalextric track. Together, they completed 1,058 races and an incredible 16,928 laps.

The Doritos Thrill Zone showcased a range of immersive brand activations and interactive experiences. Throughout the weekend, our Scalextric challenge proved to be a huge hit with visitors. The stand also welcomed Sky Sports F1 commentator David “Crofty” Croft, alongside Matt and Tommy from the P1 Podcast for a live fan interview. Afterwards, Matt and Tommy went head-to-head on our Doritos Scalextric track while Crofty provided his iconic live commentary. It created an unforgettable experience for everyone watching.
