Visitors take part in the ‘Dunns GP’!
On 13th June we were at the Netley Abbey Schools Summer Fayre 2026 with one of our mobile digital Scalextric tracks, which took place on Westwood Road, Netley Abbey, Southampton.
Our Scalextric track, proudly sponsored by Dunns Automotive, was a popular attraction throughout the afternoon. Visitors took part in the ‘Dunns GP’, paying £2 per race, with all proceeds going towards the school.
The annual village event, organised by the Friends of Netley Abbey Infant and Junior Schools (FONAS), featured a packed programme of entertainment and activities.

Including:
- Live entertainment: High-energy performances featuring circus acts, fire stunts, and live music from the Crestwood Steel Drum Band.
- Family activities: Our large Scalextric track, Energise Sports’ giant inflatables, Nerf combat arenas, and interactive circus workshops.
- Food and refreshments: A village BBQ serving locally sourced sausages and burgers, along with a dedicated Pimm’s and beer bar.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and supported the Dunns GP. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to help raise valuable funds for the Federation of Netley Abbey Infant and Junior Schools. The Summer Fayre was another fantastic community event, and it was great to see so many families enjoying the ‘Dunns GP’ throughout the afternoon. We’d like to thank Dunns Automotive for sponsoring our track, everyone who raced, and the organisers at FONAS for putting on another successful event.
