SMI Christmas Team Building

On 12th December we were with SMI at The MacDonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa for a Christmas Team Building Event with one of our mobile digital Scalextric tracks and and we also used our Truspeed wireless controllers for this event.

Rather than the usual arrive and drive setup we run, SMI wanted an action packed team based race event, so we decided to do a Le Mans style race.

There were 120 people, so we split them up into 12 teams of 10. We then had 3 teams racing at a time, with racers changing over every minute. Each race lasted 15 minutes, with a final at the end consisting of the top 3 teams. Only 1 team managed over 100 laps in the 15 minute session. So much fun was had, and loads of competitive spirit was shown by all.
