EVENT: McLaren F1 Technology Centre in Woking for the Hilton Honors ‘Family Fun Day’
On Saturday 27th July 2019 we had an action packed day of digital Scalextric racing at the Mclaren F1 Technology Centre in Woking.
We were asked to attend as one of the activities as part of the Hilton Honors ‘Family Fun Day’. The day enabled families to enjoy and see Formula 1 from a different angle, have a tour of some of the facilities, play on activities and also have lunch whilst watching the German F1 Qualifying on the big screens.
The racing on our branded Scalextric track was non-stop as soon as the doors opened. The event lasted 6 hours and we had a constant queue throughout the whole event. The person who set the fastest lap of the day would receive a baseball cap signed by Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr, the current McLaren F1 drivers.
The leaderboard kept changing throughout the day, but there was only one person to break 7 seconds.
