From Concept to Reality
Michelin approached us with an exciting challenge: to build a custom-built Scalextric track that not only celebrated their brand but also reflected their growing focus on sustainability and innovation. Together, we worked through every stage of the design and build process to turn their ideas into a truly interactive centrepiece for their 2025 events.
A Bespoke Routed Track with Modern Digital Tech
The foundation of the build was a hand-routed wooden slot car track, carefully crafted for smooth performance and long-lasting durability. We integrated the Scalextric ARC Pro power base, giving full digital control and real-time race data, and embedded Scalextric lane changers directly into the wood surface. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and digital technology delivered a track that looks as good as it performs.
Custom Jaguar I-PACE Race Cars
To complete the project, we designed and produced custom-liveried Jaguar I-PACE electric race cars. These cars tied in perfectly with the overall eco theme and provided a modern, high-performance edge to the racing experience. Each vehicle was hand-finished with bespoke decals to match Kwik Fit’s branding and visual style.

An Interactive Experience for 2025 Events
The finished track is not only a display piece but a fully interactive attraction. It will be used by Michelin throughout 2025 at various events across the UK, helping them engage audiences in a fun, hands-on way while promoting key themes of innovation, electric vehicles, and environmental awareness.
