ST MORITZ INSPIRED ICE/HILL TRACK (20′ X 8′)

This was our fourth time that Switzerland Tourism had commissioned us to build them a unique track for an event. They were so impressed with the bespoke ‘Hill Climb Rally Stage‘ in 2019, the ‘Furka Pass Hill Climb‘ in 2021 and the ‘Swiss Inspired Hill Climb Bespoke Track‘ that they asked us to build them another custom track that would give a good representation of ‘St. Moritz’ which they can showcase at the ‘Goodwood Revival 2023‘. It was really good to hear that everyone involved was over the moon with all aspects of this track. The organisers of ‘The ICE St Moritz‘ were very impressed.
Each year they have asked us to build a bigger track for them. In 2019 it was 8′ x 8′, in 2020 it was 12′ x 8, 2022 was 16′ x 8’….this year’s track was 20′ x 8′!
This year’s brief from the client was that once again the track needed to represent Switzerland. But with this track they wanted to add elements of the St Moritz region, including aspects of ‘The ICE St Moritz‘ and surrounding areas. The Grand Tour of Switzerland takes you on a 1,600 km tour through the most beautiful regions of Switzerland. It includes 22 lakes, 5 alpine passes, 12 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and much more.

This track we built included:
- ‘The ICE St Moritz’ track
- Large model of Badrutt’s Palace
- A working miniature train track disappearing into a tunnel
- An interactive model of the ‘Cresta Run’ with toboggans/sleds
- The Oberalp Lighthouse
PLUS lots of little scenes, including:
- Fallen skiiers/snowboarders on the ski slope
- Broken down cars
- Car Park
- Fishing scenes
- and much much more.
