Formula 1 Christmas Party 2022

A HUGE GATHERING OF F1 STAFF, F1 PARTNERS AND SPECIAL GUESTS AT ‘THE MAGAZINE’ IN LONDON. On Friday 2nd December 2022 we were at the ‘F1 Christmas Party 2022’ at Magazine London in Greenwich, London. We were hired to set up and run one of our large branded Scalextric tracks so we could host a ‘Scalextric 2022 Christmas Championship’ for their guests.

There were over 850 people at the F1 Xmas party, consisting of F1 staff with their plus 1’s and members of staff from F1 partners. As well as F1’s CEO, Stefano Domenicali there were past and present race drivers, including Mika Häkkinen, Jacques Villeneuve, David Coulthard, Felipe Massa, Jean Alesi and many others. There was also a special guest appearance by music icon Will.I.Am.

We were there as part of the entertainment, along with the F1 eSports simulators. Our track was in constant use throughout the event, even during the 3 course dinner for those die hard racers. The overall winner was James W Clarke with a time of 6.911 seconds. We also had the pleasure of having 1998 and 1999 F1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen and CEO/President of F1, Stefano Domenicali set times on our track.
