EVENT: Tuthill Porsche Charity Auction nr Banbury
On Friday 1st October 2021 we were part of the entertainment at a charity fund raiser at Tuthill Porsche near Banbury.
The event was for Ruth Tuthill (wife of Richard Tuthill), who was running in the London Marathon and was raising money for Breast Cancer Now. The live auction was compèred by Richard and Top Gear’s Chris Harris. The event raised over £60,000 for the charity, which is amazing!
Our Swiss inspired slot car hill-climb track was busy all evening, with people trying to get the fastest time. There were finally two winners. At close of play Leo managed to the fastest lap, but Richard Tuthill’s son was desperate to beat his friend’s time. He finally did and also managed to get the fastest time EVER on the track.
All Covid precautions where in place regular cleaning of cars and controllers and hand gel for all users to clean their hands before every race.
