EVENT: Marshalls Register Awards at Titanic Hotel in Liverpool
The Marshalls Register asked up to supply and set up 2 tracks for their awards evening being help on 28th February 2020 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. We set up one of our GIANT branded digital Scalextric tracks along with our brand new hand built ‘British Seafront/Beach Rally Stage’ track.
Both of the tracks were branded to the ‘Marshalls Register Awards’. Loads of fun was had on both tracks, the photographer of the awards had a quick go after watching loads of the guests have a go, saying “I think I’ve seen enough people have a go, hopefully I can set a great time”. He was right, on his second attempt he posted the fastest lap of the night with 8.816 seconds, which is really close to fastest lap ever on this Rally Stage.
The GIANT branded digital Scalextric track had lots of fierce racing, with 6 people racing at a time. The fastest lap of the night ended up going to Paul M, who at one point said “I think the car is faulty because it doesn’t look very fast”, then once he’d finished his race and we told him he was top of the leaderboard with a 7.305 second lap, he quickly retracted his comment!
