EVENT: HSBC Staff Charity Event
HSBC asked us to set up a large Scalextric track to entertain their staff and also raise money for charity at the same time. We set up this track and put on a championship of the 5 teams, which consisted of 5 different HSBC offices who were in for a days training.
The winning team then had a race between themselves in a final race to find who was the fastest racer of them all. Peter F won that final 25 lap race by over 2 laps. Peter also had the fastest lap of the whole evening with a 5.441 second lap. Only 3/10ths of a second off of the Stig’s time that was set before the event began.
