EVENT: AON Plc Team Building, Redhill
We just got back from a fun day with the staff at Aon Plc in Redhill. They asked us to provide a digital Scalextric track for some light team building fun for the office, which we gladly did.
They organised themselves into 6 teams of 6, which worked great. We started off with a practice session so everyone could get used to the cars, then we set up a championship comprising of 4 rounds which included a series of 8 lap races, a 20 minute LeMans style race, where drivers had to pull into the pits and switch drivers and a crash and Burn round (if you come off then your OUT).
After all that fun ‘You’ve been Nova Taken’ took the top spot with 448 points, with ‘Grumbling Flashers’ in a very close second with 442 points. We also kept note of the fastest lap of the day and that accolade was taken by Graham with an impressive time of 7.029 seconds.
