Slot Car Land Speed Guinness World Record Attempt at Santa Pod Raceway
We’re really proud to be involved with the The Gadget Show breaking the Guinness World Records for the ‘Fastest Scale Speed Slot Car’, which recorded at Santa Pod Raceway on Thursday 26th April using a 1/32 scale SCALEXTRIC BMW Z4.
The old record from June 2008 was 983.88 scale mph (1,583.4 scale kph) which equals to 30.94mph……
This time, with a time of 3.017 seconds over 165ft (1/32 of a mile) the speed reached was 1193.28 scale mph (1920.40 scale kph) which equals to 37.29mph…smashing the old World Record!
We provided the 250 foot of track and the scenery to make it like a real miniute Santa Pod Raceway
