THE BRITISH HORSE SOCIETY
(6′ X 3′)
At Think Scalextric Events we love bringing ideas to life in miniature, not just through racing tracks, but also through detailed, custom-built displays. One of our most rewarding projects has been working with the British Horse Society (BHS) to create a bespoke diorama promoting horse road safety.

The British Horse Society exists to change lives through the power of horses. They protect and promote the interests of all horses and those who care about them.

A Creative Approach to Road Safety Education
The BHS wanted a portable, eye-catching way to highlight key safety messages at events and exhibitions. Our solution was a large, interactive diorama filled with multiple miniature road scenes, each designed to illustrate different safety situations involving horses and vehicles. The display allows staff to easily explain real-world scenarios, from safe passing distances to visibility and rider awareness, all within a visually engaging and memorable format.

A Partnership That Grew
This was actually the second diorama we’ve built for the BHS. After the success of the first version, which quickly became a favourite at their events, they approached us again to produce a new and expanded version. The second model incorporates even more scenic detail, storytelling, and educational focus, helping the Society reach an even wider audience.
Built for Travel and Daily Use
Because the display is used at shows and public events, we designed it to be robust, portable, and easy to set up, ensuring it could withstand regular transport and use. Every miniature scene was handcrafted and painted to balance realism with durability, creating a lasting, practical tool for outreach and engagement.
