EVENT: Climax Studios at Eden in Portsmouth June 2022
We were back once again at Eden Portsmouth in Gunwharf Quays, this time we were hired for an event with Climax Studios. We were asked to provide one of our large digital Scalextric tracks and along with the corporate branding option. As you can see by the images below we had a lot of their Climax Studios branding around the track, including around the pit area and also on billboards, gantries, advertising hoardings which were designed and built by Magnetic Racing.
As normal we were welcomed by the amazing staff at Eden when we arrived to set up. Then, with the music at nightclub volume in the background, the Climax Studios staff got straight into the party mood when they arrived at 8pm and came straight over to our Scalextric track (some via the bar), which was in the centre of the room.
We were racing 4 cars at a time on our digital Scalextric track and, judging by how busy we were, we don’t think the controllers were put back in their holsters until the event finished at midnight. You can see by the pictures below how popular the track was.
There was a lot of competitiveness throughout the night, understandable as there were some amazing prizes available for the top 3 on our ‘Fastest Lap’ leaderboard:
